Homemade onion hair oil recipe

Onion juice helps with hair growth, but whether the sulphur in it prolongs the growth phase of hair needs more research.

Per research so far, the antioxidant action of onion is more when its heated, but there's more sulphur in raw onions.

Raw or cooked onions -:

This hair recipe include half raw onions and half cooked to ensure strong roots and better hair growth.

What this recipe has -:

Start by adding half a cup of onions to coconut oil in a warm pen and let it Simmer has it infuses.

Oil to use -:

Add curry leaves, macerated hibiscus flower and methi seeds to the onions and oil and leave it on a low flame.

Use the back of your spatula or ladie to gently crush the leaves, onions and petals to release the juices into the oil.

How to make the oil -:

Now, funnel the oil into a bottle through a sieve. Once it's cooled, add raw onions and methi seeds to it.

Use the oil to massage your scalp but without applying the onion and methi, as that needs to sit in the oil and get infused.
