In how much will the business of children’s clothes start ?
Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) has prepared a project report on Children Garment Business. According to the report, the business of making children’s clothes will start for Rs 9,85,000. In this, Rs 6,75,000 will be spent on equipment. While Rs 3,10,000 will be required for working capital. Thus, the total project cost comes to Rs.9.50 lakh.
Manufacturing Process -:
The cloth is spread on a table in different colours, designs and is cut with hand scissors to the required size of the cloth. The cut pieces are stitched with sewing machines. Attaching hook eyelets and buttons etc is done manually. After this it is pressed and packed.
Required license for garment business -:
Like every type of business, a trade license is necessary for the garment business. Trade license is issued by your local municipality. Apart from trade license, registration is necessary for Goods and Service Tax (GST).
How much Profit can be made -:
According to the KVIC report, 90,000 garments will be made in a year from the children’s garments business. At the rate of Rs 76, its value will be Rs 37,62,000. Projected sales will be Rs.42,00,000. The gross surplus will be Rs. 4,37,500. There can be an income of Rs 3,70,000 in a year.
If you do not have money to start a business, then you can take a loan through PM Mudra Loan Scheme. On the basis of the project report, you can apply for a loan from the bank.
